Triangle Insurance Company was established in 1992 by the board of directors of our parent company, Triangle Cooperative Service Company. Their vision was to create a reliable, consistent, fair and long-term insurance solution for agricultural cooperatives after decades of watching insurance carriers enter and exit the agribusiness insurance market. The groundwork for an ag-only insurance company was over 75 years in the making. TCSC was founded in 1916 by Oklahoma cooperatives to market grain and secure railway transportation.
Over the years additional needs were discovered including an insurance agency in 1932. From this experience, board members had the foresight to know challenging times would come and go and creating an insurance company that put their customers first would ensure its sustainability.
Triangle has become a leader in this space and is an agribusiness risk management cooperative. We provide compliance solutions, group benefits and HR services along with our superior insurance products to walk side by side with our customers in their daily operations.
